Out & About in The Lake District

With so much to see and do in and around the Lake District National Park, you’ll never run out of places to visit and beautiful views to take in. There are plenty of attractions and activities close by the holiday park. Located between Cockermouth & Keswick is the Lake District Wildlife Park. The Cockermouth Golf Club is a short drive away from the park.

A little further afield there’s the Maryport Aquarium & Go-Kart Track or a visit to the Whitehaven harbour & marina. If you love your speedway, the Workington Speedway, home to the Workington Comets is about 15 minutes away by car. If browsing the shops is your thing, Cockermouth has a great range of gift and decor shops & beautiful Keswick, Ambleside & Windermere are only a short drive away. And of course the Lake district mountains & lakes are easily accessible using one of our vans as your base. We have a bar on site with music, bingo, quiz’s and live music on selected nights and a small play area for children with trampoline.
